Beer Community Service

1.Host a tasting of multiple beers and comment on their conformation to the style they are supposed to be, and what you think could be done to bring them more into style. Gather the comments of all the other participants, compare them to yours, and submit. Notes should be made on aroma, appearance, flavor, mouthfeel, and overall impression. (1 BJCP score sheet per beer http://www.bjcp.org/scoresheet.pdf and a summary of results, 100 words minimum, and minimum of 6 different beers.)

Brewers Guild 2nd Circle

1.    Choose a deity that is important to brewing and write and perform a ritual to honor them that includes the brewing of a fermented beverage. The ritual should be in an ADF format.

a.    Submit the text of the ritual and comments on how the ritual went (200 words minimum plus text of ritual)

While a full ritual was performed, it was all impromptu and no liturgy was written.  What follows is my best recollection.  This is the second ritual brew I did for this requirement, and both came out similar.

Brewers Guild First Circle

1.Research the laws for home brewing in your country and locality (state, province or county, if applicable).  (500 words minimum, cite references)

United States Code Title 26, Subtitle E, Chapter 51, Subchapter A, Part I, Subpart D, § 5053 provides an exemption to the code permitting the production of beer for personal or family use. § 5052 provides a definition for beer (see applicable statutory material).
