We discussed Beltane traditions along with how we celebrated our Beltane.  Here are some bits of what was discussed:

• This is a fertility Festival
• The Mountain Ancestors Grove used the land of Colorado as their being of the occasion
• Tear of the Cloud Grove honored Bellanos and Danu
• This is a festival that is all about fertility, and sexual energy
• Fire is one of the big traditions
  • Bel fires in Ireland where they drive animals between for fertility
  • Jumping fires in modern Pagan context to promote fertility
• Maypole is a common tradition
  • The pole is representative of the male, the hole in the ground is representative of the female, and the dance is celebration of their union.
  • The dance is also weaving (literally) fertility magic
